Subject: Crash on Ubuntu 7.10
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: Crash
Platform: Linux
Release: Notes and Domino 8 - GOLD
Reproducible: Always

Hi all,

After weeks of "no problem" my Notes client suddenly crashes when trying to access mail.
Calendar,To-Do's, other databases seems to work fine.

Webaccess also works fine.

The only trace i have is that my laptop got turned off while running notes.

Running Ubuntu Gutsy, 7,10 and Notes8 GOLD.

Investigating logs i get

[Fatal Error] :-1:-1: Premature end of file.

And the client crashes (including the collector running when support assistant) with "JVM 127"

I have "rm -rf ~lotus" and relaunch + replicated but and the problem persists.

Problem comes in offline and online mode, as soon as it loads the mail.

The console.log file gives:

11/26/2007 06:05:10 PM Lotus Notes client started
11/26/2007 06:05:43 PM Agent Manager started
11/26/2007 06:08:47 PM 33:02
11/26/2007 06:08:47 PM Client shutdown complete
11/26/2007 06:08:47 PM Agent Manager shutdown complete

11/26/2007 06:08:52 PM 33:03

Any ideas on what can be wrong and how to fix it?
